Saw Yukimura today.

Yukimura also said that he hadn't seen Akaya since last week when he went to visit. He looked worried; I decided not to mention that Akaya hadn't been to school for over a week.

I know that he's been missing, and it's worrying. But Kirihara needs to grow up. This kind of behavior will not be tolerated on the team. And I won't be his babysitter.

I think...Akaya needs to decide how important tennis is to him. He's good, but he's going to hit a plateau unless he learns to control his style, instead of letting it control him.]

I went to the hospital to visit Yukimura today. He didn't look at all well.

[Apparently, they gave him an incorrect dosage of his presurgery medication. I wanted to go and...do something, but Yukimura gave me a look, just shook his head. He's far more forgiving than I.

I still want to do something to those doctors.]

Next time we have a birthday...which is Marui's, next month, I believe...there will be no "wrapping parties." I'm firm on this. We can all wrap our presents by ourselves.

I've decided that I'd like the world's tinfoil production to cease until Kirihara and Niou move onto a different prank. Which surely won't be that long.

When I grumbled it about it to Kiyoshi-niisan, he said I should just get Akaya one of those long felt elf hats. With the bells on the end.

I must be going insane, because the idea actually seemed to have some merit.

Speaking of niisan, he asked me the strangest question Saturday night - wanted to know if there was anyone playing junior tennis who wasn't "flaming."

Then he mentioned that I'd gotten an interesting phone call from two boys who sounded like they were around my age, while I was at kendo practice.

Figures. I suppose I should just be grateful that I didn't answer the phone.
